What was the highlight of Solana Hotel & Spa
Good value hotel, location perfect for bus riders
The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had quite the variety and was very good. The themed buffer dinners were also very good with a wide range of dishes and desserts. The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere in the hotel really relaxing. The location is perfect for those who are traveling by transportation, with a bus stop right on the other side of the street.
The infinity pool was closed and the water of the indoor pool could have been warmer.

Very Good
Amazing location in Mellieha, close to lots of brilliant restaurants and view points, short walk to the main beach or quick taxi ride. Hotel was lovely with lots of places to relax inside and outside.
Balcony view wasn't great, no privacy, we were offered an upgrade to sea view at check in but then was told this wasn't available when we asked to view the room. One of the pools wasn't yet filled up when we visited but it was early may so understandable

All in all a good stay, good food, nice staff, try to avoid the bottom rooms due to noise
Good breakfast, nice spacious room, view from the roof, nice personnel, parking (needs to be booked before traveling)
Beds not very confortable (hard beds), shower head was not able to be fixed in a desired position, second bed for the childer was actually a couch bed (not very confortable), our room was a bit loud in the morning (at delivery time)

Nice views
Rooftop with amazing views is definitely breathtaking, also enjoyed a lot the sauna and is relatively well located if you love beaches also has a bus stop just in front of it
I stayed in a room by reception just above Bellini (breakfast room) unfortunately every morning waking up so early as I could heard all dragging chairs. Very unpleasant to wake up like that in a 4 star hotel that supposed to be well isolated from noise. They definitely need more staff during breakfast. Very often coffee machines without milk. People waiting for cups/glasses / cutlery..
